How do they work? The websites that run the schemes are payed by advertisers, who are (naturally) eager to display their banners in your screen. You put up with an ad banner, you get paid by the company with the ad-bar. Note - with some schemes (like alladvantage) you actually have to be viewing web pages to earn anything. With others, you just have to be online.
